• Cloud Orchestration Microservice: Own Vert.x-based K8s orchestration microservice managing SaaS tenant lifecycle on IBM Cloud. Built RESTful APIs for environment provisioning, configuration, deployment automation, and operator integration. Enables multi-tenant environment management with Vault security, Cassandra persistence, and Kubernetes resource orchestration for enterprise customers.
• Cloud Cost Optimization: Led Istio migration from sidecar to Ambient mode and enabled HPA for UI servers by enhancing the platform to transition from sticky sessions to shared session storage, reducing cloud costs by ~10%.
• Observability & Analytics: Developed a Holiday Metrics Dashboard using Grafana and InfluxDB with asynchronous data ingestion to monitor transaction volumes and provide analytical insights for customer cloud environments.
• Data Architecture & Optimization: Architected and implemented a PoC for SME customers with reduced data retention requirements using DB2 table partitioning, including platform code changes for the complete data lifecycle strategy, and presented it to the Architectural Board Meeting for Executive approval.
• Network Infra & Service Mesh: Own the network infrastructure for the SaaS product offering, managing Istio service mesh with mTLS, load balancers, ingress controllers, and implementing namespace isolation with authorization policies to ensure secure multi-tenant connectivity.
